what I wore: random stories

top: banana republic (not maternity), cardigan: f21, maternity jeans: motherhood (similar), flats: jcpenny (similar), earrings: walmart (similar)
24 weeks

First I want to say thank you all so much for the love and support you gave -here. I'm so grateful to have such an awesome community of ladies behind me showing support, you guys are the best! We went to our specialist appointment and, like I thought, no one is worried. It's always great to get so many opinions though, Brand and I walked out of the appointment with smiles on our faces and the worry washed away -oh and we also got a few pictures of our little one.

-----------------

So do I look tired in these pictures or what?! Ever since about week 20 I haven't been able to sleep very well. My legs get all kinds of numb and sore and achy, I don't know what it is. I've tried using pillows, I've tried using blankets, I've tried doing leg exercises before I go to bed. Any tips would be appreciated. -Maybe it's my body just preparing me for when this little gal gets here?

-----------------

And have I told you yet that her favorite time to move around is right before bed and between 4 and 530 in the morning? I think we have an active baby on our hands because this girl is moving and kicking like crazy -some of these movements are so startling it gets me all kinds of jumpy. But then of course I laugh and start talking to her -is that weird? Did you ever talk to your belly?

-----------------

I don't think I ever blogged this and I better do it now before I forget: One of the very first times I felt her kick I was sitting in church -relief society to be exact - and I was sitting next to my sil. I felt this little movement that felt kind of like a gas bubble and I just thought -well I think that's just gas or something. So I sat there for a little bit longer and I got this big ole jolt in the same spot as before -I got kicked! And that was that.  I'm pretty sure she was trying to prove that she was there, "oh yeah-you thought that was gas, what do you think about this!?" Crazy girl.

  16. I had achy legs too! I took Bradley classes with my last pregnancy. If you aren't familiar with the Bradley method, its also referred to as Husband coached childbirth. Every night, my hubby gave me a full body massage as part of our relaxation practice! It really helped the aches at night.
