Our first stop on our Friday date night was Central park… not thee Central Park, but the park that is on Central. And really, this park has nothing on Central Park. Last year when we were driving around downtown we drove by this park. In my whole 24 years of living in the Valley of The Sun I’m pretty sure I’ve never seen the part before, so obviously it was something we needed to checkout. It took us almost a year to visit it, and even then it wasn’t on purpose. It was one of… Read More

the first official documented fourth of July
Just last week I was looking for pictures of previous fourths of July. I wanted to reminisce on the moments that have come and gone. But, to my surprise -because at times I feel like a photo-taking-fiend – there were no fourth of July pictures to be found. So, I fore-warned Brand that it was going to be a day filled with documenting alllllllllmost every-single-moment of the day. happy Independence Day!
november 6, 2012 election day. Welp, it’s Independence Day, but I bet you already knew that. And you probably knew it because you didn’t have to drag yourself to work this morning. This weekend I tried herbal tea for the first time. I was really excited about it and was ready to drink something besides water. But, it turns out that my pallet isn’t ready for this thing you call tea. I took a sip for the first time, hoping it would taste like something out of a book; overflowing with deliciousness and flavors that you wouldn’t imagine. Well, one this is for sure I never imagined that I would taste the flavors I did, it seriously tasted like garbage. It was sort of vile and was… Read More
what I wore: featuring Allie Ollie Boutique
maxi: Allie Ollie, cardi: f21, sandals: target, earrings: the limited There’s something about a really great maxi dress. It’s like a good book that you don’t want to put down because it’s just that good. Or your favorite dessert that you shouldn’t eat, but you can’t help it becasue it’s calling-your-name. And truly, I’m the biggest sucker for desserts even when they aren’t calling my name. HA! I’m in love with this great maxi for several reasons. First I’ll state the obvious, it’s seriously soooo stinkin pretty. It’s a tube top dress and if you look… Read More
