It practically rained all weekend. And for Phoenix it was quite an exciting time, we love the rain because it doesn't happen too often. Hazel especially loves it, she loves to put her rain boots on and jump in the puddles. It's all purely instinct becasuse I really don't know where she learned it. haha! Don't you remember all that from your childhood though? Splashing in the rain, running around like a wild person because it's raining? Haha! Sounds silly, but that's what I remember. I mean it was rare because my mom was afraid we would get sick or struck by lightning, but when it did happen... maaaaaan.

Pink, White, and Red Pom-poms
Sticker hearts that have Valentine sayings
Food items you will need:
Most of these items were purchased at the Dollar Tree--this is not an add--so it makes for a super easy and fun craft. If you end up having extra stickers you can save them for another day and another craft, or you could put the stickers on some little oranges like we did in the picture below. Super easy, super cute Valentine's Day craft and activity that will keep your little ones busy for a little bit.
When I sat down to help Hazel decorate the bags I would say positive things about what she was doing. Something you might think to say could include: wow, you're doing a great job! oh, I think they are really going to like your work. or that turned out great! The more you talk to your children the more they will learn, especially when the words you are saying are positive and uplifting. If they accidentally make a mistake (which is really hard to do with this craft) just kindly fix the problem, say: oh that's okay, or no worries, we can fix that! You want your child to love crafting and being creative, so it's always important to make sure you are using positive words no matter what.
Happy Valentine's Day crafting!
