I get in continuous ruts where I feel like I don’t really teach Hazel much of anything. We play inside, we play outside, we go to the store, and I feel like by the end of the day I haven’t sat down with her to read a book or teach her, her colors. So, I’ve started searching, searching for learning ideas, something simple that I can teach Hazel, not something that is over the top in the time prep department. And so I thought I would share some of my recent finds that I’m really enjoying, I love teaching Hazel, and love that she knows so much.
Fun and easy pattern matching game.
Printable letter activities, I usually just cut the letter out and don’t print it, but it has great ideas.
More busy box ideas that will help keep them busy while developing skills.
Matching colors–I like to do this on a piece of paper… and sometimes I use m&m’s.
I haven’t done this yet, but I think it would be a hit. Plus, it keeps the mess in the box.
If your child is more active, like mine, this is an amazing idea and I can’t wait to use it for colors, shapes, and even ABC’s!
What do you do with your kids that helps them learn?
